Also in keeping with this theme, a plant hormone is defined as a compound with the properties held in common by the native members of the recognized classes of hormone. Current knowledge of the hormonal regulation of plant development is grouped so that the three volumes consider advancing levels of organizational complexity, viz: molecular and subcellular; cells, tissues, organs, and the plant as an organized whole; and the plant in relation to its environment. The present volume treats the molecular and subcellular aspects of hormones and the processes they regulate. Although it deals with chemically distinct classes of hormone, this volume stresses properties and modes of studying them, that are common to all classes.

This is my school book, it's good enough to teach u how to work with Visual Basic in visual studio, but it's not detailed enough for tests,it's hard to find even the answers of each chapter review questions. It makes me use internet resources as well.

Really Good for Non-Beginner Programmers

Really good book that is easy to follow. I'm torn between 4 and 5 stars. It's not for the absolute beginner programmer since it doesn't get very detailed but it reads like a beginner text with the simplicity of the text and exercises. It also provides a decent basic overvue of the Visual Studio IDE.

If you are looking to learn VB and/or .NET as your next language then this is worth getting but there are other more in-depth beginner books out there that would provide a much better foundation.

This is a magical tale that invents and reinvents itself with each chapter. It is laugh out loud funny then heart-breakingly sad and then beautifully nostalgic all within a page. All of which leaves you completely satisfied as a reader. Howard paints pictures with his words and creates realities that are at times as dream like as they are completely familiar. Do yourself a favor and read this book.

haunting, lovely, and unique!

I loved this novel! It's funny, weird, haunting, and completely innovative. Echoes of Cortazar, Calvino, Carroll, and Beckett, but totally unique. Though the narrative is not straightforward by any means, you'll find yourself unable to put this book down. And at the end, you'll wish you has another novel by the same author to read. It's that good.

Teniendo en cuenta mi amor por Estambul y por México, disfruté de cada página que leí, imaginándome en cualquiera de los dos sitios... La autora describe perfectamente, pero sin abrumar, los detalles que la protagonista va encontrando a lo largo de su vida en México. Describe perfectamente también lo que implica ser extranjero y dejar tu familia, tu patria y tus costumbres.
