This book is disappointing

This book is disappointing. Although a lot of Bonsai topics are covered
there is not any real depth to the material. This is too bad as I think
the author of the book has a lot more knowledge on the topic as is coming
through in this work.
Although I bought this book I had to purchase others to get the
answers I was looking for. My favorite book at this point is "The Art of
Natural Bonsai" by Dave Joyce.

Breadth but no depth

I would agree with the other reviewer. Many topics covered but none with any real depth. Would have much preferred to have more written on care and shaping and less written on propagating and displaying. There is so little on pests and diseases I don't know why they even bothered to include it.

BONSAI!!!

I am intrested in creating Bonsai trees and had found this book and others on the subject, at my local library. I really liked it and wanted to purchase a copy for myself so I could use it at my leisure. Amazon had a good price and I've always trusted their service. I highly recomend this book not just for the knowledge it packs but also for the wonderful photos that will intice your imagination in creating your own Bonsai. So....BONSAI!!!!
